Hailing from the Beirut music scene, Pēlikel – from the French pellicule – is a Montreal-based band. Rooted in modern progressive rock but unbound by it, they draw from indie sensibilities, orchestral textures, and the emotional immediacy of folk. Their music balances intimacy and intensity, carrying a distinctly human pulse. Impressionistic in nature, their arrangements create a soundworld that is both whispered and widescreen, like film rendered through sound.

Following the release of their latest conceptual EP Okay, Maybe (2025), Pēlikel is bringing this sonic experience to Canadian stages. Incorporating visuals projected onto synchronized CRT sets, their performances are both sonically and visually compelling, making the music feel more immediate and human than ever.
